    Fort William World Cup Friday

FORT WILLIAm, Scotland (transcendmagazine.com) -- Riders were greeted to cold temperatures and rare Fort William sunshine today for the first day of practice. The course is much the same as years past, with a slightly different wooded section near the mid point. The upper sections of the track have actually been swept to clear off the loose gravel, making it slightly more grippy.

Huge braking bumps are present into almost every corner, however many of them are legacies form years past. "It was good walking the course, you could tell which braking bumps you had to avoid before you even rode it." commented Sam Hill.

Top 80 timed runs took place just after 2:30 and midway through a storm blew in with vicious winds, rain, hail and a bit of snow.

Practice kicks off at 8am sharp tomorrow. And 4x finasl take place later in the evening.
