LA BRESSE, France (transcendmagazine.com) -- The rain held off, the sun stayed out and qualifying took place on a tacky, lamost dry track. Steve Peat proved he still has what it takes to ride with the best, running a 2:10 to take first place. Mick Hannah was .37 seconds back, with Gee Atherton in 3rd. Sam Hill was 4th with a broken chain while teammate Brendan Fairclough was 6th.
Brendan Faircough ran a helmet cam for us.
