LA BRESSE, France (transcendmagazine.com) -- SAturday morning, qualifying day, has broken sunny and warm here in La Bresse! Despite predictions of more rain, there is blue sky showing and only a mild breeze. It poured again yesterday afternoon, but cleared up overnight.
Riders are about to take to the course for the last 4 hours of practice before it's time to get down to work and qualify. Every single rider we have spoken to has loved the course here in France. Mud spikes are key however, even in the dry. Just about every team is either using Maxxis Wet Screams, whether blacked out or not. It is really the only tire that is hooking up.
More rain is on tap for this afternoon, and a monsoon for tomorrow. It could get very interesting.
