PIETERMARITZBURG, South Africa (transcendmagazine.com) - The sun is shining, the temperature is hot and the track has turned into a freeway. The pedaling section is still pedally, but the other sections have turned into 6th gear, pinned, freeways. Everyone is making up for lost practice yesterday by squeezing in as many runs as they can this morning.
The women get underway in about an hour, followed closely by the men. It looks like all of the top men have stepped up there game this morning and are jumping further and pedaling harder than they have all week. Expect the top 20 to leave everything they have on the hill.
