PIETERMARITZBURG, South Africa (transcendmagazine.com) -- Mick Hannah has stormed back onto the world cup after a year off by setting the fastest qualifying time this afternoon here in South Africa with a time of 3:47. Local favorite Greg Minnaar is second with a time of 3:50. Chris Kovarik was third with a 3:53.
Many riders were not giving it 100% during the session, Hannah however was clearly giving it everything he had and going for the qualifying points.
