MONTEREY, California (transcendmagazine.com) -- Unusually warm weather and sunshine met Sea Otter participants on Friday. Downhill riders took to the dusty, loose course all day dialing in what lines there are to be had. Some of the worlds best are in attendance, despite being extremely jet lagged following the flights over from Africa after World Cup 1.
Cedric Gracia, Gee Atherton, Sam Hill, Tracy Moseley and more were all putting in time on 2 wheels yesterday. Another week of truck shuttles here at Otter but with a round trip of about 15 minutes during pro practice, is was a much more pleasant experience.
The paddock area is crammed with the usual array of tech support and new stuff. Look for a full report on the new products this Saturday afternoon.
