MONTEREY, California (transcendmagazine.com) -- Sam Hill and Melissa Buhl have taken home the victories in tonight's Sea Otter Dual Slalom. A setting sun was a perfect backdrop to a great afternoon of racing as the best in the world took on one of the season's only 2 slalom events.
It was Sam Hill and Melissa Buhl taking home the titles after some close battles. Buhl moved through a small field, but was neck and neck with Kintner in the finals when she capitalized on an error near the finish to pour on the power and just nip the olympic Bronze medallist at the line.
Hill proved once again that his off season was spent training as run after run he out sprinted the competition, including arch rival Gee Atherton.
