TIGNES, France (transcendmagazine.com) -- French 4 master Romain Saladini, of team Sunn, has won the Tignes Airwaves giant slalom event. This even is run on snow at the Tignes resort in France, and attracts a who's who of Euro racing every year.
Brendan Fairclough of the Monster Specialized team, Julien Cammelinni of Chain Reaction Intense, Guido Tschugg, Mickal Deldycke and Kamil Tatarkovic were also all on hand.
This year's final was run in temperatures of 15 below zero, but it didn't phase Saladini. He snapped the gate and led from start to finish.
