Team rider Jamie Biluk managed to place 15th in the legendary Crankworx Monster Garbanzo Downhill yesterday afternoon against a stacked field that could have been the start list for any world cup. Despite 2 crashes, lots of mud and numbing cold up top, Biluk crossed the line with a time of 15:19.5, less than a minute off the pace of eventual race Leader Gee Atherton. It seems that it was a race of attrition as even second place finisher Sam HIll managed to have an odd run, and lost a shoe mid course.
The next event for Biluk is the Canadian Open downhill, the final event here at the Crankworx Festival in Whistler, BC.
Biluk comes out of the fog on upper Original Sin.
