BROMONT, Canada (transcendmagazine.com) -- Just got word in from the Bromont World Cup Promoter, Richard Deslandes of Mondiale du Velo. Phil Saxena, the man in charge of building World Cup 4x courses, spent the week in Quebec under the blazing sun and pouring rain with some of the biggest equipment he has ever used.
Richard was excited about having Phil on the mountain and it seems like Phil was pumped to see the preperations that Bromont had made. "Phil was really surprised and impressed to saw all the material and machineries he have to create the course. He is suppose to create for us the biggest ever 4 cross course on the World Cup circuit" Deslandes mentioned.
Digging had begun last Friday on the new side of the mountain, and the 4x course will be gigantic is the size of the piles of dirt is any indicator. Photos tomorrow as I will be heading over to Bromont to check things out.
