FORT WILLIAM, Scotland (transcendmagazine.com) -- 4x qualifiers were late this evening here in Scotland. The usual suspects were all here, although some were simplt taking it easy.
Finals go off Friday evening under the lights and hopefully clear skies. The course is longer than the last few years, with extra features thrown in to make for a good show. The midges will be in full effect however, as the course is buried deep in the woods. Tens of thousands of screaming English fans are expected to show up to watch the rainbow jerseys get dolled out.
It looks to be a battle between Prokop and Lopes, as usual. Both looked fast on the course. Kintner and Beerten looked to be taking it easy in qualies, so expect them to be vyiung for top spot in the finals.
