MARIBOR, Slovenia (transcendmagazine.com) -- After a 2 day drive, we have finally arrived in Slovenia. It is warm, sunny and there is blue skies. Every hotel room in town is booked, so it should be a big event. Everyone is headed out to walk the course this morning, photos will follow.
Newly crowned World Champion Sam Hill just sent his race kit out to be dry cleaned up the street, so look for the 2007 World Champion to be looking sharp and riding fast here in slovenia. Hill is 168 points up on Steve Peat in the title chase, so it is all up for grabs this week in Eastern Europe. Peat and most other racers arrive from the UK today, practice starts tomorrow morning.
