MARIBOR, Slovenia (transcendmagazine.com) -- There was a brief sprinkle of rain last night, and again during practice this morning, but it didn't even make the dirt damp. The downhill track is in perfect condition and riders are loving it. Traction is ridiculously high and everyone on the mountain is pinned and looking forward to the final event of the season tomorrow afternoon.
4x practice and finals starts shortly, and the course seems a bit strange. Not many jumps, and lots of pedalling. It will definietly be advantage to the BMXers, quite the opposite of the first round of the season in Vigo, that gave the edge to the best rounded rider.
Mr Riffle is loving it.
