MARIBOR, Slovenia (transcendmagazine.com) -- Practice gets underway here in a few minutes in Maribor. It is sunny and warm, and the track is amazing. If the rain stays away it will be a crazy high speed run through technical singletrack at the bottom and a nice high speed section at the top. If it rains however, it will be a complete gong show as there are tons of off camber roots showing in the woods, and the ground is soft and spongy and ready to expose even more.
The town of maribor itself is amazing to wander around, except we were all advised need to leave any valuables lying anywhere, as they will dissappear in minutes. Fun.
