Champery World Cup - 4x Results & Video

CHAMPERY, Switzerland (transcendmagazine.com) -- 4x took place this evening, later than scheduled to to some heavy thunder showers that rolled through. Racing was pretty damn good on a course that riders weren't too fond of and included many passes and come from behind victories.

Jill Kintner blew her gate and still managed to charge back through the field for the win. Brian Lopes put a sweet pass on Prokop and slip into first place in the nick of time.

Lopes had this to say about his run when asked following the race: "I felt good about my final run, would have liked to have the hole-shot but Prokop had a good start and beat me to the turn....just made a smart pass on him in the rocky section...and just tried to hammer down and get a gap on him"

He went on to share his thought on a course that many riders were quite quick at voicing their displeasure with during practice. "I thought that the first straight was too short and that the 1st turn was not so great. But over all I like the length of the course and thought the bottom had some good passing opportunities with the long straight away...optional last turn burms."
