2007 World Cup Venue rumours

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (transcendmagazine.com) -- Champery, Switzerland is now a confirmed event for next season. The venue will be host to a triple world cup event on the weekend of 9-10 June, 2007.

Schladming and Maribor are now also rumoured to make a return. The other 3 stops are apparently going to be in the Americas (Brazil, Ste Anne, ?). A few rumours have been circulating that Ste Anne would not be on the calendar but that it woudl be replaced with Bromont, Quebec.

Bromont has hosted a World Championships (92) as well as a world cup (99) and a few years of Master's World Championships in the past and is investing heavily in their bike park operations for 2007, so it may be a possibility.

Again, all of these except for Switzerland are rumours, and we have not yet been able to confirm them either way.
