    New ad networks being tested

MONTREAL, Canada (transcendmagazine.com) -- In light of the recent explosion in traffic and bandwidth usage here at Transcend (about 300 000 pages last month), we have decided to try and cover costs by improving our ad fill rate (read less pay per click ads that no one clicks on, and more ads that pay just by being there).

To accomplsih this, we will be trying out a few new ad networks over the upcoming days and weeks. If you happen to see ANY ads that surpass the annoying flashing state, please let us know. There are not supposed to be ANY type of intrusive ad; this is to say no pop ups, no pop unders, no layers, no expandable banners, no noises etc.

If you notice any of these, please right click, get properties and copy the link location. Paste it into an email and include a description of the ad, this way I can make sure it is eliminated from the rotation.

Also, if you notice any ad that seems out of place or is just highly annoying where it is placed, feel free to let me know.

    thanks for your understanding
