    Ft William

The Duo turned into a Trio. Fraser and I now added Brady from Hcor.net as a traveling partner. We landed in Glasgow yesterday and got to the car rental desk where they said they had no reservations for us.. Luckily one of the other rental companies came up with a Ford Fiesta for us. A nice little gas powered car. (rather than our diesel powered Punto from Italy)
Of course the kicker to this car is that they put the steering wheel on the wrong side. This whole country is "on the wrong side!" If you stroll down the hallway in the airport people walk on the wrong side. It is really strange.
We drove to Ft william and it is still taking a lot to figure out the driving.
When we arrived in Ft william we stopped by our bed and breakfasts and checked in. Very informal really, no money exchanged hands nor did any papers come out. It was just an introduction and then shown to your room. From there we headed over to the venue to get our credencials. It seems to be a bit disorganized here but that is ok. I think it will sort out soon enough.
This morning I woke up to perfect eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, OJ, Tea and whatever else you wanted really. It was great and it overlooked the lock as well with a nice rainbow to cap it all off.
Today we discoverd why all those guys in bravehart are so tough. Man the bugs, rain, and conditions are brutal. If i ran around these parts in a kilt with these conditions I would paint my face and fight a war as well. Let me emphasize the bugs. They are HORRIBLE. We are off to shoot some more. hopefully we will be able to get some bug nets or something to protect us.
