Brazil World Cup - Kintner

CAMBORIU, Brazil (transcendmagazine.com) -- American 4x Queen Jill Kintner hooked us up with a mini writeup and some bitchin' photos from South America to share with everyone.

Thanks Jill!

Brazil is paradise. We could not have asked for a better place to race, the
people here have done an amazing job. Not only did the organizers bring in
hundreds of squares of grass to landscape the entire 4x course, they also
planted flowers everywhere and dug sections to place grandstands. The place
looks like a hollywood theme park, but costs practically nothing. All you
can eat sushi was like $15 dollors US the other night.

The 4x course is interesting. Looks good, rides ok. DH is narrow singletrack in a lot of places, but covers a lot of different terrain. Starts on a really steep
paved road with and adventure/ climbing park up in the trees, then into the
jungle, out onto some fireroad type dirt, and back into the jungle. Lots of
turns. There is a gap jump that looks pretty sketchy. They land hauling ass, and go into a rock section straight away. Everyone seems to be enjoying
themselves, and after practice has a swim in the ocean. Next year, more of
you had better come....
